What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

State is Michigan

My custody case began in 2000 and is still an ongoing battle with about half a dozen hearings a year.

My question is this:

I recieve SSI for my son that has special need and the father has never recognized those needs and refuses to cooperate with the schools and doctors and in fact lost all medical rights to the child, but keeps taking me to court because he feels that he should not have to pay for his half of medical bills and for child support because I receive state assistance. Can SSI go after him for money for my child to receive the care he needs? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

also the father of the child has violated our court order on several occasions and the courts are not enforcing our court order or they give him a measly $100 fine and he does it again.

Can I bring a lawsuit against the courts for emotional damages?

Also the other parent is mental abusive to the other child and has even went so far as to bribe the child into saying that I was sexually abusing him when in fact I have never and would never do that. He is sick in the head and why he has rights is beyond me. In any case that situation was documented with the courts and the file noted and an investigation was conducted that showed he deliberately lied and put our child up to this.

Needless to say I have seen enough of a court room to never want to see it again. I just want to protect my son and end this nightmare.
