SSI , as in supplemental security benefits ?

If so , when you tried to " get off it " , you didn't report your changes ?

Why wasn't that so easy ?

Oh ,and BTW it is your payees " DUTY " to report such changes too .

So both of you come clean and let SSA decide who they want to go after for reimbursement .

SSI overseas

yes Supplemental Security Income, the reason it wasnt easy is because i left without telling Social Security anything but realised my parents never contacted social security about my leave and still continued recieiving benefits but still giving me money here and there to help pay some legal costs for my new residence but now it just means me or my parents are going to be responsible for the money to pay back.when i came to the states i tried telling them i didnt want it anymore and that i was planning to move to the UK but i didnt tell them i had already got married and got my visa of residency in the UK. but you're right i will just come clean and see where it goes from there.
