An individual became disabled {schiz} at a time when they would be eligible to have recieved SSD, however they did not do so. 2. They are not concerned {would be nice} about retroactive payments. 3. They have recieved continual treatment for illness, since time of diagnosiss. Is there a time limit during which one must apply, regardless of proof of illness, treatment, and continual impairment during time since diagnosed? Even if not eligible for SSDI ,you may be eligible for SSI . You'd apply for both at the same time.
