SSD taxes and investing

We're from Massachusetts and my wife was recently granted SSD and she has been investing some of her money from her settlement from Workman's comp. So the question is, Where she is on SSD and will be collecting interest from her investments how much can she make each year before being taxed for those investments? Or is it all taxable?
