What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NH

I received a ltr yesterday that said my Ssi was being reduced from $674 to $492. I didn't know the SSA did that?

It said my living arrangement was Category A for September 2011 on.

THEN a few lines down it said:
"Category Z for September 2011 on for New Hampshire"

The entire ltr is below.

We are writing to tell you about changes in your Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payment. The following chart shows the SSI money due you for the month we changed. As you can see from the chart, we are only changing your payment for October 2011. The rest of this letter will tell you more about this change.

We explain how we figured the monthly payment on the worksheet(s) at the end of this letter. The explaination shows how your income, other than any SSI payments, affects your SSI payment. We include explainations only for months where payment amounts change.

Your Payments Will Be Changed As Follows:
From * * * * *Through * * * * Amount Due Each Month
October 1, 2011 * Continuing * $491.80

Information About Your SSI Payments
Your regular monthly check of $491.80 will be sent to your bank or other financial institution about the first day of October 2011.

Your Payment Is Based On These Facts
The amount of SSI we pay depends on your living arrangements. Your living arrangements are where you live, with whom you live, and how your food and shelter expenses are paid. Based on the information we have, your Federal living arrangement is:
