I receive SSDI and am also on Medicare. Is it possible I can receive SSI as well? I work part-time because my SSDI is very low. Actually it is less than SSI payments.

It is only possible if you file a claim. The month you file is the first month you can be eligible. So, if you wait until Friday of this week, you have just given up one month of potential eligibility.

Call 1-800-772-1213 and make an appointment. Answer all the questions. Have the claims rep explain to you if you qualify or not based on the answers to the questions. Call by Thursday.
