What is expected of you in a Continuing disability review? When your disability case is undergoing the mandatory review after X number of years, what is expected of you? Are they hard on you at these reviews, or does there have to be a big improvement? Will I have to get letters of support from doctors all over again? I remember the judge saying it was harder to get on disablity than to stay on it, but I don't want to be lulled into a false sense of security -- I am worried I won't improve and am literally terrified sick that some bureaucrat will find a way to hurt me. |

| Best thing to do is when you're time is near for review ,speak to all treating Drs and say your up for SSA review and talk to them and seek their opinion on if there's significant enough improvement to work any gainful employment . You also might keep track of what they are putting in records . SSA might send you to their own Drs . for review also . If you have little or no improvement , say so . Watch what you say . Google disability review and do a little reading . It also depends on the severity and totality of your condition(s) . Yes ,it's easier to stat on DI than it is to apply and be awarded DI.
