Where can I get a SSI lawyer to speed up me getting reaproved?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
Where is a SSI Lawyer in california that can see if I can get back on SSI again? A friend on mine said i shouldnt have to reaply for SSI because ive already been approved before and that i was in jail and i couldnt go to ssi to get my checks and i shouldnt have to reaply.
Where are some SSI lawyers at?
