Worker's comp/social security benefits

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

My husband is 65 years old and receiving worker's comp since 1987. He does not have enough credits for SS or SS disability benefits. When I retire, he will be eligible for 50% of my SS benefits. How will it affect his current worker's comp payment (decrease?).
