What is the name of your state? New York

In December 2005 I received a speeding ticket in the town of Binghamton. I sent the ticket in with a plea of not guilty. In January 2006 my apartment burnt down and I was forced to move. I notified the local court about my address change.

In May of 2006 I graduated and moved away from Binghamton, NY. I contacted the DMV with my address change. During these 6 months I did not receive a letter for a hearing for my speeding ticket.

In August 2006 I moved down to Virginia for a job offer. I turned in my NYS Drivers License and surrendered my NYS plates and registration. I still have not received a letter from the court regarding the ticket.

In Sept 2006 I received my VA drivers license and my VA registration and plates. I am wondering if this ticket will be of any problem for me in the future?

Thank You.
