101 mph in a 70What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Missouri I recieved a 101mph in a 70 mph yesterday. Was arrested and taken to booneville county jail. Had to post bond. What are my options / potential penalty? |

| Depends what he is charged with. Speeding of 20+ over the limit is a class B misdemeanor in itself. That's good for up to six months in jail and/or 500 fine. What he could get depends on the circumstance and what judge he's up against. He definitely needs a lawyer. 100+ is not going to inspire leniency from the court.
