20 years old NY State Speeding ticketWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY I'm canadian. In june 1989 I received 2 speeding tickets and dates to appear in court. I never went back to court and and received a Notice of Failure to Comply with a form to enter a plea wich I did not return. The suspension date was december 1989. I did not received any further papers since then. I did not drive in NYC state since then. My question is simply, what will happen if I get stopped again in NY State, does this still show on records 20 years after with a non-resident driver's license? | Kind of surprised Canada did not come after you, NY and some locations in Canada have agreements to enforces each other tickets. However, If you do drive in NY there is a chance this ticket could show up. States have been entering in all these odd tickets into the new systems and sharing it with all states.
