| 2nd traffic ticket in 3 weeks
What is the name of your state? Maryland, St. Mary's county
On May 18th 05 I got a speeding ticket.. 66 in 50 (2 points). Went to court today 7/1/05 No points, no fine. Paid 25$ for the privilage of doing 16 hours community service, and was place on probation before judgement. (year probabtion, unsupervised)
On June 12, 05 I got another ticket.. he reduced it to 49 in 50.
My court date for this ticket is Aug. 16, 05. I could pay it, ($65.00) and take the point, or go to court.
My question is - I don't care about this point, I'm sick of court and county idiots. I'd just pay and suck it up on the insurance to skip court and community service. However -since I'm "on probabion" is this a good idea, or can I hear from them again, in the form of another court date and more fines and trouble. Keep in mind the traffic offense did NOT happen while on probation, but the next time I'm due to appear in court they will see this record I now have. Better to just pay and take the point or which?
