Is there a law in Connecticut that gives me a right to a speedy trial?

I went to arraignment in November, 04 and originally got a trial for this week.
Now I got a letter 2 weeks ago saying that my case is cancelled in Court A and being transferred to Court B.

Court B just send me a letter saying that I will have to go to court in April for plea.

Have I been denied my right to a speedy trial???

TIA
