5 Yr Old F.T.A. but abstract issuedWhat is the name of your state? I live in so. ca. (los angeles county) i have an old f.t.a. from 98 for no insurance & no registration. i recently had to obtain an abstract from the court for this ticket to renew my drivers license but when my abstract was issued i had to make a court date. i was under the impression that the only way an abstract was issued was after a court appearance resolving the f.t.a.. does this mean i no longer need to keep my obligation to appear in court and also what is the limit before a ticket becomes invalid. |

| "what is the limit before a ticket becomes invalid." By not appearing for court you were found guilty and sentenced. Therefore the issue of the ticket being valid does not exist. " i was under the impression that the only way an abstract was issued was after a court appearance resolving the f.t.a.." So was I. "does this mean i no longer need to keep my obligation to appear in court" Hasn't this caused you enough trouble already. By showing up the first time you probably could have taken traffic school. You must really like potato salad and beans. |
