7Year old Ticket

In May of 1994 I was supposedly stop for speeding in Colebrook New Hampshire. I now live in Minnesota and my licence is canceled due to that ticket. Dose the state of New Hampshire have that right to due this after 7 years and not contacting me and giving me 30 day to pay or show? And another tid bite of info Colebrook cant even tell me the make for car I was driving.

If you got a ticket, you should have had a court date printed right there on the ticket. If you've never been stopped, I would think you could ask the court for a copy of the ticket. If it wasn't you they shouldn't have your info. See what information they're going on.

Thank your for your reply. I have called them and asked them to send me a copy of the ticket. But the ? still is after 7 years with no contact can they still come after me? Theres got to be a statude about how long a ticket is good to be prosicuted.

I don't think the statute of limitations applies after they've already written the ticket. I think it applies to how long they can wait before deciding you committed the crime then trying to prosecute. For example, if Kentucky decides now that I ran through a stop sign 10 years ago and tries to issue me a ticket, that would probably fall under the statute of limitations.
