What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I live in ontario, got a speeding ticket near buffalo. Officer did not give me a ticket but gave me a paper for either send document by mail or appear in court. I just want to know what are the consequences if plea guilty or if I dont. Also I dont want to hire any lawyer to defend

Unless you want to drive from Ontario to Buffalo just mail it in. Plead guilty or no contest and pay fine. If you do neither of them than next time your in US and get pulled over you will go to jail.
