84/60..$232 out of state speeding ticket.. Plz advice

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state? CA

I was driving a rental car in UT... got a speeding ticket (my 1st one).... not sure about radar etc..(cop followed me for a while)...need to appear in a county court on 05/17...

What are my options to reduce/beat the ticket?

UT is member of both DLC and NVRC

CA is not a member of NVRC

I'm worried about Insurance please advice

State :CA

Could you plz advice on following:

1> Is it advisable to request a postponement of court appearance (No way I can go back to UT by 05/17) ?

2> Don't know if taking up a online traffic course is permissible or helpful (since 24 over limit)? any ideas on UT laws? Whats the best approach to request a online traffic course from a clerk?

3> How to find out "trail by mail" is extended in my case?
