| 88 in a 55
I was pulled over for doing 88 in a 55 in CA (it was a highway, so I don't know why the speed limit was 55). I received a mandatory appearance for violating the maximum speed law of 65 MPH. I would like to know what my maximum penalty could be...I was just charged with the maximum speed limit ticket, NOT reckless driving or anything of that sort. It was a simple infraction. I have not been able to find out through any other source what the maximum penalty could be. This is my first ticket (I had one other 2 years ago but attended traffic school for it). If you could please advice me as to the maximum penalty for 88 in a 55 in CA, that would be great. Thanks! |
