| I was pulling out of my driveway, the rear windows were all fogged up, and I was in a hurry. My neighbor was parked behind our driveway. The car I borrowed from a friend had a blind spot I didn't know about so when I looked over my shoulder I couldn't see the van. I hit the van and caused minor damage. Isn't it illegal to park blocking the right of way of a person's driveway in Oklahoma? Please help... I've never had an accident before. |

| I am a law school graduate. What I offer is mere information, not to be construed as forming an attorney client relationship. Okay, so you are saying your neighbor blocked you from getting out? Did this neighbor ever park there before? You are responsible to know most of the pertinent ins and outs of the car you drive (yours or not). These include: making sure the back window is defrosted so not foggy (hello, you need to SEE to DRIVE) and making sure you know of blind spots (check side mirrors and adjust). You are responsible and so is the neighbor if this person has never parked there before. |
