Question

Advice needed (please)

What is the name of your state? New Mexico

Hello people, I'm not looking to get hammered on how bad a person or driver I am so please keep it to yourself. With that aside I received a ticket for driving on a expired licence and I don't own a car or plan on owning one, also I am moving out of state in 2 weeks so it is pointless to renew also Im a single parent who is limited on funds. What should I do, or say to the judge with everyone understanding my guilt. And how much should I expect to fork over to the court? Anyones help with advise or similar experinces would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Erich of New Mexico

Ps. I cant spell (sorry)

You should just pay the ticket. You are saying, if I'm understanding correctly, that you don't have a defense. Aparently, you didn't own a car at the time you received the ticket, so I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. You do need to get your license renewed, for starters, though. Maybe, then, if you still want to go in front of the judge, you can show that you renewed it.

If you renew now and beg nicely they might dismiss or reduce the charge. It's not pointless to renew. You probably won't be able to get a license in another state if you have an pending action on the NM one.
