my grandaughter was in minor accident and noone called police i called them when she got home and she admitted hitting the car but the lady pulled into her but since grdaughter was in center lane she got the ticket,the lady is aking for quite a sum of money to fix her car and only got few very insignificant scratches.I dont have ins on the grdaughter and will lose or really up my ins. premium so was trying to settle it out of ins.being turned in ,can i have my own people ck her car too im on ss and cant handle lots of money and grdaughter just got her job and has nomoney either. my grdaughter is 18 yrs old will b 19 in Jan.can you plz help me?thank you Ms. H

Okay, you need to have an attorney take care of this for you, since insurance won't help you at this point. The attorney will ensure your rights are being protected so there is no highway robbery. This will include a request to have a car inspected by an autobody place you select, to keep it balanced and fair.
