| I got a speeding ticket in leon county florida. This is my first ticket and i'm not sure to go for a safe driving school or pay the fees to the court? As i got 4 points and my ticket is 180$. And i dont want to have this points onmy record. The situation was like this. It was a slope and the speed limit was 25. And i was at 38-40 before entering to that road and the road i was coming form having the speed limit 35. And there is a traffic light just before the slope on the road ends. But in my case it was green. and due to that reson my speed was automatically increased. and before i reduced it the office caught me. And told me that you were speeding at 47. But i have no idea how come she has measured. It was state police. And i didnt ask her anything. Otherwise.. I politely said ok. Now,i have doubt about 47, 'cause it cant be more than 40. And one of my friend is suggesting me to hire an attorney. so you can survive from both (points & penalty). Is it ture?? So, whats the best driving school or penalty or attorney? Thanks |

| If I recall correctly the driving school will take away the points but might cost as much or more than the ticket. It would probably not be good to try to fight the ticket. They should only have to prove you were speeding, not the exact speed to be guilty and could wind up with a fine, plus the points, plus attorney fees. |
