I was in court for displaying a counterfiet state inspection sticker in Va. I was told this was a misdemeanor charge. I pleaded not guilty. Told the judge I got the sticker not knowing it was a fake.
The judge reduced the fines. after court costs it was $178 . I was too nervous to pay enough attention to exactly what the judge said at the end and all I got from court clerk was a recipt.
Is there a misdemeanor on my record?

What does the receipt say?

Sounds like the charge may have been reduced from a misdemeanor to something else. The only way to know for sure is to contact the court and find out from them.
