What is the name of your state? Arkansas

I recieved a speeding ticket in Texas for doing 77 in a 65 mph zone. The police officer who pulled me over told me of an option to take drivers school courses in order to reduce the price of my ticket and remove it from my record. When I called the court clerk though, I was told that I need to have a Texas drivers license in order to do so. So my only option seems to be to pay the ticket in full and hope that it doesn't make it to my record.

What I would like to know is if there is any other way to reduce the price of the ticket and keep it from my record?
