What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

I got pulled over for speed, which I was and I owned up to it, but the DPS Officer immediately became a jerk and then started to question me as to why I did not pull over to the right. I was in the car pool lane and have pulled over to the left a few times and never been questioned. When I stated this to the Officer he continued to get an attitude with me and told me that it is the law in all 50 states that when you are being pulled over that you have to pull over to the right. I looked up the ARS and it doesnt say anything about when being pulled over it only talks about when an emergency vehicle is passing or when passing an emergency vehicle. Is this something worth fighting or should I just pay the fine? Thank you for your help.

If you are directed to pull over to the left, then you can do that. Otherwise, you are expected to pull over to the right. The code section you cited says to pull over to the right when an emergency vehicle approaches with proper lights and audible indications. You failed to do so.

Now, was the police officer also using some sort of audible indication? If not, then THAT is what you can try to fight.
