i would like to fight this ticket because i feel the officers used entrapment. yet i was driving on a suspended license (from what the officer said).

i was staying at a motel, in california where i live. i was leaving the motel to go find a laundromat. as i was backing out my brother pulled in and blocked my car from leaving. he began causing a scene and someone called the police. they had us both sit down, asked our names, etc. the cop said my brothers license was suspended, he then asked him if he had any contraband on him, he said no he was searched, then asked if they could search his car. he told them no. at that point the cop began filing out a card on my brother. they then told me my license was suspended too. i told them i went to court on the ticket and i had an abstract in my car. he said he didn't want to see. he asked if he could search my car, i told him no. so he had the other officer fill out a card on me too. they asked our name, address, tattoos, left or right handed, etc. this really bothered me, i have no idea why they did this, but i really don't think it was right. by this time there were three cop cars there. the cop then tells me "okay, you can go ahead and take off". (he knew i had a room there). i told him i could show him the abstract, where i had taken care of this ticket, he said "i can only go by what they tell me over the radio, so get out of here". I got in my car drove through the parking lot I stopped and asked one of the cops where my brother was because i couldn't see him, he says "i have no idea" so i drove through the parking lot to the stop sign, then i thought "what am i
doing" so i pulled out far enough to make a u-turn and go back into the parking lot, when i was making the u-turn i noticed there was a cop car behind me. before i could park my car, one of the cops still parked there, told me to "pull it over right there", and about the same time the cop car behind me turned his lights on. they wrote me a ticket for driving on a suspended license, impounded my car and put a 30 day hold on it.
under the circumstances, being very rattled over what my brother did, and the fact that i was coming back to park my car, and i only pulled out onto a public street far enough to turn around, i feel they could've been a little more understanding. yet had the cop not told me to "get in my car and take off" i wouldn't have left in the first place.
i would really appreciate some advice on if i should try to fight this ticket or not.
thanks for your time in reading this.
