What is the name of your state? CA

I went the wrong way on a roundabout . Instead og going all the way around the round about, I just went around the front part of it. Is there a way out of this?

Generally, No. You can talk to DA and see if he can reduce the charges, but unless the signs were confusing, you are guilty as charged.

That is a misdemeanor charge, not a traffic violation.

You have the right to a lawyer.
You may qualify for the Public Defender's services. If you appear, at the arraignment and plea, representing yourself, you may come to an agreement with the Prosecutor regarding a disposition.

If you don't agree, try to get the services of the PD, or ask the court to continue the arraignment and plea so you can consult with a private attorney.

You are looking a a full-blown misdemeanor jury trial, not a traffic court trial.
