What do you feel if the situation was that the officer was in pursuit of the offender and the offender stopped just outside the city limit.

Also if the officer was deputized what then?

There really is not enough information to be specific in the post is there?

And why the heck would city XYZ deputize officers from ABC to write tickets in XYZ?? That would be illogical. OTOH, cross deputizing between neighboring jurisdictions is a very good idea, so officers can enforce the laws rather than calling in for surveys to find out if they can write a ticket at all.

For clarication purposes, can you explain how you were clocked as speeding in one jurisdiction by a policeman in another jurisdiction yet were able to slow down quickly enough so as not to be speeding in the arriving city? Was the posted speed in the arriving city higher or was the policeman at a great distance when he nailed you?
