Can I beat this ticket with technicality?

What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state?NY
Hello!
I received a yellow traffic ticket in NY, for “Felt to comply law officer”, sec 1102.
The following info on the ticket is wrong:
My address, Date of birth, Lic class and Date of the Lic expiration.
Can I beat this ticket with technicality?
If yes, how?
Thanks you!

**A: does your ticket really state " Felt to comply?"

Hi!
English is not my first language, sorry.
The way it’s written, I can’t exactly understand, I think it actually says, “Failed to comply lawful officer”

**A: don't think, you must post exactly what it states.

VTL Sec. 1102:
Quote:
Obedience to police officer and flagpersons.
No person shall fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of any police officer or flagperson or other person duly empowered to regulate traffic.

What did you actually do? Usually, because it's so ambiguous, this is only written up when you piss off a cop.

Question

The cop was regulating the traffic using his hands, and I didn't understand him, I had the green light and he apparently stopped the traffic, but for me it was too late.
What could be my punishment in the worst scenario? can I use the technical issues I have on my ticket (wrong: address, Date of birth, Lic class and Date of the Lic expiration)
Thank you.

You can try, but it will probably not work. End result, you did break the rule in Section 1102 - that's why it's there.

You can try to plea bargain it down to a lesser offense. You'll have a much greater chance of success if you go this route.
