Question

Can MVR be changed?

What is the name of your state? Tennessee. My son recently received his
commercial trucking diploma; however, in July, 2004 he was stopped in Georgia for a broken tail light and was ticketed for having an open container.
Breathlizer test at the time was negative and (of course, I was told) the container was not his and was left by a friend (he was the only one in the car at the time). He had a CDL license at the time to drive a school bus through a private contractor. Now he cannot get a trucking job because of the open container ticket. He paid the ticket and did not go to court because he was working. Can anything be done to get the open container changed on his MVR? Thanks.

Unlikely. Once it is on there it is on there. It will go off in antoher year and one-half which is probably quicker than you could get it reopened and much cheaper.
