Canadian with a driving with no licence in Washingtion state

I had recieved a driving without a licence ticket by mail in 1997 or 1998. The event occured when I tried to get into the US and the customs agent ran my ID and it showed that my driving priveleges in Canada had been revoked, while he was getting the Sumas police his partner let me drive my vehicle back into Canada - I never went back.
My question is thus: the ticket that I received mentioned the year 2002. Is this the year that I will be allowed into Washington? If I travel to California this year can I be picked up for the Washington ticket? With this ticket over my head can I even be allowed into the US??
Finally, is there any repurcussions if I acknowledge this ticket or should I just hope that it goes away? (wishful thinking!)

Any help will make my day!!!

My response:

Do you see the red writing way up top ? It says :

"**** U.S. LAW ONLY - PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR STATE BECAUSE LAWS VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.****"

You're asking about Canadian law.

This is a ticket from Washington State NOT B.C.
I received the ticket from A US customs agent - the Canadian government has no problem with me driving.
