What is the name of your state? New Jersey
This was in Cliffside park.
My record is completly clean, and Ive been driving for 5 years.

Heres the story.
Im driving along in the left lane, of a two lane road. (Two lanes one way too the other) There are two guys in front of me and to the side there are three. The Black FX35 at the front of the left lane hits his brakes ( I assume to turn left) the guy behind him also hits his brakes.

Instead of dead stopping behind him I change lanes to the right and change back when I pass them because I have a turn comming up ( from a turning lane a block later the other guy just wanted to pull into a parking lot or something)

When I made this manuver I pulled between a blue bronco and a white escort. There was plenty of room between them. THe speed was around 35 mph and the gap was at least 4 car lengths wide.

The cop pulles me over after my turn. Licence and registration, then takes some 30 min to get back to me. Doesnt even say another thing. And hands me three tickets. One for careless driving, one for no signal, and one for loud muffler. 4 points in total

Now the loud muffler was an oem option of which I have documentation so unless I get a recall notice in the mail it stays. I intend to take some pictures of it and show off how in perfect conditon its in. If the officer would have asked I would have shown him the gigantic mazda logo on the side of the exhaust.
The no signal im ****ed Im hopping I can plea bargin that down to no points. There wasent time.

The careless driving however is complete bull****. I made a decision to not slam my brakes, and risk hitting the guy in front. There was some 20 ft between me and the guy infont and he was stopping hard. Could I claim extenuating circumstances or atleast get the charges lowered?

Hmm upon reading this it sounds bad. I think im gonna have to take a lawyer to aviod points.
