What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MD/PA
I was convicted of careless driving in PA, but I am a Maryland driver. How does this work in terms of points to my licence? In PA, careless driving is a 3 point offence, but MD has no equivalent offence.
I also have a question about how this will affect my driving record. In MD, you can expunge your driving record after 3 years without a violation, but this option does not exist in PA. My question is this: does the careless driving charge go on my Maryland driver's record and can therefore be expunged, or, does each state keep a separate driver's record?
