careless and imp. ticket

I would like to know in MO:
I just got a new prescription for trazadone. I took 1 tablet and remembered I had to go get something to eat with it. I was driving when the pill took effect, and it affected my driving. I received a ticket for c and i. I would like to know if I should just pay the fine or if i would be better to fight it in court. I have never had a ticket before. What should I do?
