What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I would like to know how to go about getting a change in venue for a traffic ticket that I intend to challenge**************same county, I just need to move it to a different precinct. I believe the JP in this small town with one cop is somewhat corrupt**************..

That's California law. There's not statutory right to a change like that in Texas and I think you're unlikely to get one from the court either.

In TX you have a right to jury trial this is how you take the judge out of the equation. There is a process to request a jury trial for your ticket.

But that leaves him stuck with the supposedly corrupt cop... Which he couldn't avoid even if he had the option of a change of venue!!!
