What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
I was fined in nevada for speeding 5mph over, i tried to pay but apparently they never cashed it because i signed the check in the wrong area.
They sent it to collections and added a $300 fine on a $100 ticket with out notifying me first that it was unpaid.
Do they have to notify me by law first??
