What is the name of your state? Georgia

What happened? Single dad taking his kids out for dinner. Car #1 doesn't start, so takes the license-plate off and puts it on unregistered/uninsured Car#2. Gets pulled over for speeding (25mph over). Recieves 4 tickets: speeding, no insurance, no registration, concealing identity of vehicle.

Please advise:
How much benefit would a lawyer be in this case?
Without a lawyer, what would be the best position to take in a pre-trial conference?What is the name of your state?

How much benefit would a lawyer be in this case?

With criminal sanctions (jail) as possible punishment not having an experienced lawyer would be as reckless and irresponsible as the initial criminal acts. (IE very irresponsible)
