Cop with lights off on the ramp in MD

What is the name of your state?What is the name of your state?
I'm in the state of Maryland. I was pulled over going 80mph on a 50 mph zone at 11:30 pm. The cop was standing in the shoulder on a ramp between two highways with his lights completely off. She gave me a ticket and a warning for speeding. Was the officer violating any law? And should I go to court? And if I do should I pleade guilty or not guilty?

Actually, between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m., the police are required to place a neon sign which says "I'm hiding so slow down".....

You're serious right? Go to court or not. That's a personal decision. But the officer having her lights off isn't going to be a defense. She caught you. Plain and simple.

No, the officer did not violate any laws.

Were you speeding? If so, why not accept guilt and pay the ticket. I know that this is a novel idea but some people actually do it. If you do not believe you were speeding, then appear in court and contest the citation. Pretty easy.
