Cops Responsible For Any Damages?

If persay a person was to get pulled over by law officials and they wanted to d a search of your car and proceeded to do so and then say called in The K-9 dog and the dog say did any type of damage to the seats ,,etc,,,or the cops did any damage to any part of the car,,,and then they found nothing,,would they be held accountable for repairs?? and if not WHY??? let me guess,,,because they are "above the law"??

Submit an itemized estimate of the cost of repairs to the agency along with photos of the damage and your assertion that the damage was caused by the agency's canine. If they deny the claim, you can always try to take them to small claims court.
