Couple Questions..

What is the name of your state? Illinois

Ok, so I have quite a few different questions here..

My first question is, what is considered a moving violation? Do they consider no insurance and no registration plates displayed as a moving violation?

Second question is if I bought a truck on July 22nd, and got into an accident with the truck on July 25th, which was 3 days later..the 22nd was a Friday, which I had to work, was too busy on Saturday, and worked doubles on Sunday so I never had time to go register the truck and switch the name into mine, would a judge show any leniency on me for not having any insurance (I know they most likely won't show leniency with the no insurance ticket), but what about no registration plates displayed? I would be able to prove that I worked that whole weekend all day and everyday and didn't have time to go get it registered, etc.

Third..I was arrested about a month ago for posession of 2.5 grams of cannabis..on one of the citations, the cop gave me one for "no front license plate" which I DID have and still do, it was just a little bent at the time because I have a tendency to hit the parking blocks at work for fun. Well anyways, on that ticket, he wrote the date as "Saturday, August 16th, 2005", when it was "Saturday, August 13th 2005"..an August 16th of 2005 was a TUESDAY, not a SATURDAY..so would it at all be possible that citation will be thrown out on the grounds that it would be impossible to receive a ticket on a date that doesn't and will NEVER exist?

Fourth, is their an age requirement to sign an I-Bond in IL? My parents said you have to be 17 to be able to sign an I-Bond and sign yourself out of jail, and im only 16. So would it be possible my citation would be thrown out for the cannabis if you DO have to be 17 to sign yourself out?

How did you buy a car at 16?

>>was too busy on Saturday<< Hmmmm.

Leads me and perhaps a Judge to ask if you EVER had an intention of purchasing Ins. How much would that be for a 16 year old anyway...oh LOTS!
