What is the name of your state? CA

I meant to ask this in my previous post, but thought it is really a different subject.

I was cited for 21453a and on the citation I promised to appear on March 25, 2008. I got my Courtesy Notice yesterday, and it states the "Date Due" is April 08, 2008.

My question is: will I get a FTA if I do not show up on March 25? Do I now have until April 08?

I'm guessing I need to show up by March 25, but wanted a second opinion.

Thanks!

If the date on the courtesy notice says Apr. 8, then you have until Apr. 8. Sometimes, the court does not get the ticket in time to process it in time for the date on the bottom of your ticket, so they have the authority to extend it by a couple of weeks if need be.
