criminal speeding ticket

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? arizona
my son who is 21 got a crminal speeding ticket that he has to go to court over tomorrow why he was driving my mustang, he has had 2 other or maybe 3 other reg speeding tickets but not in the last year or so he won't have 3 in one year but what should we exspect or should he get a lawyer?
