| I have been accused by a policeman in an unmarked car of going thru a red light. I was informed of this by post although he did not stop me at the time because he said he did not want to go thru the red light as he was not in a police vehicle(i think he was on the way home). His statement states that i went thru the red light "approx one sec after it turned red". I was not aware i went thru the red light and dont make a habit of doing so. As their is no photographic evedince is it not a matter of his word agaist mine? Could this ultimitally be my defence? any advice appreciated andy |

| You got it right. It will be his his ability to identify your car as the one that went through the light and also you as the driver that he must present to have the basis for his charges. Then it will be your turn to present a defense. If you testify, you may in fact only confirm that you were at the intersection and it was you. ------------------ To retain a lawyer, I suggest you go to http://AttorneyPages.com which is endorsed by the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
