DMV notified?

What is the name of your state?VA
Was clocked speeding 55/35 (Fairfax county) and had already acquired +5 points by attending traffic school. Went to the summons and plead guilty. My charge was reduced to "failure to obey highway sign". Now my question is with the payment slip they gave me. In that it says DMV: Not sent. I just saw this and will like anybody's input on whether the DMV will be notified of this or not. Anyways tommorow morning I will call them and find out about this. But if somebody could reply to this with their experience, I can have a peaceful sleep! If not I will post the info I got.
