A Friend of mine, gave his car to an ex-girlfriend. She was told there was no insurance on the vehicle, and she chose to drive it anyways. He even called his local police dept., and informed them that she intended to drive the car with no insurance, and they told him there was nothing they could do about it unless she was caught. Meanwhile, She had access to the title and he had not signed it over to her yet. She was involved in a traffic accident. Now he is having his license suspended for 3 months in the state of Ohio, because of this. He is a truck driver, so this is his only means of support. He is appealing the case. Is there anything else he can do if his appeal is denied?

Your friend will be responsible for all costs if the girl driving is the person responsible for the accident occuring. If the other party involved is guilty of the accident then your friend would be culpable for the charge of no insurance on his vehicle and thats why his liscense was probably suspended.
