What is the name of your state? NEW JERSEY

I was pulled over due to expired registration and unfortunately, with expired insurance also. i really overlooked those facts. i was asked to appear in court. now, my problem is... what do i need to do? what do i need to expect? do i need an attorney? i am pleading guilty. i renew my registration this morning and i already got my car insurance. i am freaking out coz this is my first time to be pulled over and my first time to go to court. please someone help me. thank you

take proof of your current registration and insurance with you to court. Chances are the judge may give you a slightly, or even significantly reduced fine if you have proof that the issues have been remedied.
