What is the name of your state? Illinois

I have a question on my sons court thing here. To sum things up real quite.
9-3-07 Driving rvk/ speeding
9-9-07 Driving rvk/ no insurance

There was a CF filed on 11-13-07 for drivingrvk/suspdui/sss2nd by the states att. office

There was an arraigment hearing 2-15-08
Now there is a status hearing 4-1-08

What does this all mean?

Getting Information

2-16-08

glessen,

What were the violation numbers for 9-3-07 and 9-9-07?
What does CF mean?
There was a CF filed on 11-13-07
for drivingrvk/suspdui/sss2nd by the states att. office
What do the above abbreviations stand for?
What happened at the Arraignment?
Do you have a court paper with a decision reached at the arraignment?
Is the son under 18?
Some lawyers will consult on a one time basis for $50.00 or for no fee. This doesn't establish a lawyer or client relationship, but the lawyer should be able to explain what your options are and even suggest what he thinks your best option is.
The court may have a brochure which briefly explains what a status hearing is

Best Regards

Sounds like he was:
9-3-07 Driving rvk/ speeding .... stopped for speeding & was driving on a revoked license
9-9-07 Driving rvk/ no insurance... stopped & no insurance & driving on a revoked license

There was a CF filed on 11-13-07 for drivingrvk/suspdui/sss2nd by the states att. office
... a complaint was filed by the Prosecutor on 11/13, alleging driving on a revoked license, driving on a license suspended due to driving under the influence, and ?driving with 2nd suspension (note: two different offense dates = two charges)

There was an arraigment hearing 2-15-08
Now there is a status hearing 4-1-08 ...
The first appearance was 2/15 & defendant probably pled not guilty, so the case is continued to 4/1/08 as a pre-trial/status hearing.

Hopefully, he's not driving your car.

Oh yes, a lawyer-client relationship CAN be formed by one consultation, even if unpaid - check your Professional Rules of Conduct.
You are wrong, sir.
What law school did you attend ??

It means that your son is an idiot and a hazard to the rest of the driving society.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

Q: What law school did you attend ?

A: Was it that one advertised on matchbook covers?
