We live in Minnesota. My friend was convicted of car racing and was put in jail for 2 years. While in jail, or on probation I don't know, she still could go to work every morning, but after work, she had to go back in the cell. My questions are that:

1.) In her situation, was her racing conviction consider as minor or serious violations?

2.) What type of probation is that? Can you please explain more about the probation?

Thank you in advance for your help.
