driving w/ suspened license, no registration

hemet,california- my boyfriend got my car impounded driving with a suspended license (ftp), no registration, four months late. He had 4 or 5 previous violations for driving w/ suspened license, the last 3 within the last three months. He went to court for the first one he got in december and planned on asking for a restricted license so he could drive to work but the judge postponed him stating he believed him to be in violation of probation and didn't even give him a chance to speak. He is not on probation. Meanwhile he got the other two violations. the last one they impouned my car, my question is how can i get my car back w/out having to pay the 30 day storage fees, and how can he clear up his tickets and ftp if he cant afford the fines for the original ftp that caused the suspension in the first place.

The best way out of this:

IS TO GET RID OF THAT DUMB LOSER OF A BOYFRIEND TODAY**************.

THEN GET YOUR ASSS IN GEAR AND GET A SECOND JOB SO YOU CAN PAY FOR YOUR REGISTRATION AND THE IMPOUND FEES....

WITH A SECOND JOB YOU WONT HAVE ANYTIME TO FIND ANOTHER LOSER BOYFRIEND!

you stated that he had 4 or 5 previous violations. how many were in you vehicle? in the county i work in (also california), if its the first time you vehicle has been towed, my department will sign the release for the vehicle. however, if your vehicle has been towed prior for the same violation, the vehicle will be held for the full thirty days. also, if i stop a driver that is supended and the regisered owner of the vehicle is also in the vehicle and has knowledge that the driver does not have a license, then i will arrest the driver also for allowing an unlicensed driver to drive their vehicle.
in regrds to paying the fines, he will have to contact the courts and set up a payment plan for the fines.
